Feeling

Ode to Summer...

YOU KNOW the feeling...

a tickle of hair across your face

the wind dancing around your legs as you walk in a skirt

sand between your toes when ankle deep in ocean

lapping waters as you leave shore

when no ones around

laughing really hard

fingers gently intertwined

slip strap falling off your shoulder

skinny dipping

nude skin pressed against the sunny side of the boathouse (wink)

blanket wrapped after a swim

the smell of red cedar as the rocks get hot

a deep breath when you've settled in for sunset at the end of the day

looking out to the million sparkles on the water

knowing that is how much you are lovEd
